PROTECTION AGAINST ADVERSE WEATHER

By sealing the road surface, it can be protected from frost, water damage and heavy footfall. Surface dressing is the chosen solution of many authorities due to the price and speed that it can be completed. Roads are sprayed with a layer of stone chippings before being compacted by a roller. We often apply many more chippings than are required in order to ensure that the required density is embedded once traffic is allowed onto the area.
